Moh Rad PPP - Advancing Healthcare Through Public-Private Partnership
The Public-Private Partnership (PPP) between Altakhassuussi Alliance Medical in Radiology (AAML) and the Ministry of Health (MOH) signifies a strategic alliance aimed at strengthening radiology services and advancing healthcare outcomes across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This collaboration capitalizes on AAML’s specialized expertise in advanced imaging technologies, clinical excellence, and professional training, in alignment with the MOH’s mandate to expand access to high-quality healthcare nationwide. The partnership seeks to enhance diagnostic capabilities, develop integrated radiology infrastructure, and support the national agenda for healthcare localization through joint capacity-building initiatives. In line with Saudi Vision 2030, this PPP underscores a shared commitment to innovation, operational efficiency, and sustainable development within the Kingdom’s healthcare system.
As part of the mandate, AAM will work with more than 450 staff and will be responsible for managing patient services in the hospitals’ respective radiology and nuclear medicine departments. Through AAM’s 10-year capital investment plan, the PPP will improve the quality and efficiency of medical imaging services by introducing new information and technology capabilities, while helping to maintain or replace vital equipment when required. In addition, healthcare workers will be given training and development opportunities to hone their skills in line with global best practices. AAM combines state-of-the-art technology with highly adept staff to deliver best-in-class imaging diagnostic services for its patients through Its suite of solutions that will play an important role in enabling early diagnosis, giving patients the best possible chance for successful treatment outcomes.
The partnership with the Ministry of Health is aligned with AAM’s ambition to build and operate a leading diagnostic imaging network to address the growing need for high quality, accessible and cost-efficient imaging diagnostic services in the Kingdom and beyond. This goal is mirrored by the government’s Vision 2030 strategy, which envisions creating a comprehensive, effective, and digitally integrated healthcare network as part of its plan to transform the sector.
